The Public Works crew works diligently to maintain and improve Port Allegany's roads, properties, and buildings.

A few of the Public Work Crews Duties include:

Plowing snow and spreading salt during the winter
Street sweeping
Mowing and weed eating grounds
Maintaining Borough buildings
Maintaining and repairing Borough vehicles and equipment
Picking up brush and leaves
Maintaining and repairing the storm water ditches and sluices
Changing the banners in downtown Port Allegany(Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter)
Responding to customer issues
Responding to Borough Work Orders
Operating, maintaining and repairing the Water and Sewer Systems

Port Allegany's Public Works Crew includes: Glenn Drabert, Cory Thomas, Mike Kio, John Boyd, Scott Kio, Cliff Fillhart and Nate Schwab. The next time you see them out working, let them know you appreciate what they do.
